Inside Sales Specialist

 

Job description:

Are you energetic sales oriented specialist with some technical knowledge and eagerness to learn our products? In this role you are following up the selected customers in your dedicated European regions. You work together with the area sales managers in the territory, as well as field application engineers. You will help customers in product selection, explaining customer the benefits of different products and support from competent u-blox teams, and provide customers with arguments for choosing u-blox solutions, whether they are for positioning, cellular communications or short range radio products like Bluetooth and WiFi.


Tasks:

  • Treatment of the inbound traffic for the assigned area with the primary goal to qualify leads to new sales opportunities and provide a timely and accurate reply to the customers’ inquiries
  • Management of selected accounts with a process oriented approach and in coordination with the responsible area sales manager for the assigned area
  • Close cooperation, especially with the Sales Team and Field Application Engineers to ensure outstanding service and best prioritization to the  broad base of u-blox’ small accounts
  • Making commercial and technical proposals, closing orders
  • Maintain and analyze customer data
  • Support web shop and other internet activities aimed at supporting our broad customer base
  • Use Salesforce.com to develop regular tracking and reporting
  • Reporting into the organization regarding customer activities and market requirements

Location(s):

Courbevoie (France) and Espoo (Finland)

Requirements:

  • Min. 1-2 years’ experience in sales of electronic components or in the B2B technology sector  
  • Good understanding of electronics via a technology study (Electrical Engineering degree or
    similar) or equivalent work experience
  • Fluent in English plus French (for France) or Finnish (for Finland)
  • Excellent customer relationship building skills and strong negotiation talent
  • Eloquent  communication skills
  • Good analytical capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and self-organized in hectic working environment
  • Occasional travel requirements (< 10%)
