In this role you will focus on significant growth of EMEA turn-over, profit and market-share by bringing already initiated product innovations to the markets, motivating and developing your European sales team for the upcoming tasks and process optimizations and by taking care of the core business.


Our customer is a leading manufacturer of electronic sub-systems.

Main Tasks

  • Leading the Regional Head of Sales with responsibility for External and Distribution Sales of all EMEA entities.
  • Responsible for managing total EMEA Sales team including performance management, definition of KPIs, setting of incentives and performance related salary increases.
  • Responsible for definition, implementation, management & periodic adjustment of the EMEA Sales strategy bases on the EMEA Marketing strategy.
  • Responsible for setting and managing EMEA Sales direction and culture.
  • Working closely with EMEA Marketing team to define new markets, applications and customers for existing and new product ranges.
  • Facilitate the provision of market intelligence, market trends and customer feedback to EMEA Marketing and Product Owners.
  • Responsible for setting EMEA-wide Sales budgets, medium terms plans (incl. growth targets) and Sales resource levels within each entity.
  • Define and manage EMEA Sales processes.
  • Active participation in and support of Global Sales activities including global and key accounts and global distributors.
  • Manage adhoc projects as required.
  • Providing Sales reporting


  • Profound theoretical & academic background.
  • A strong knowledge of strategy setting, implementation and KPI definition.
  • A broad knowledge of selling in Electronics market in BtB environments.
  • Maintain a robust understanding of the Electronics market environment and market application trends.
  • A sound knowledge and understanding of distribution channel management.
  • Ability to think global but act local, avoiding silo thinking and see “the big picture”.
  • Possess a high level of P&L understanding.
  • A broad knowledge of people management with strong ability to lead teams and solve problems.
  • Be skilled in working within a matrix structure.
  • Able to work effectively in in a multi language environment.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of CRM functions and capabilities as well as overall IT understanding and application skills.
  • Being a good communicator on all hirachy levels internally as well as externally.
  • Analytical mindset as well as high process orientation.
